Come to me Celine
Intuition and imagination: Celine SS14: Inventively combining shape, texture and colour.
I’m getting refrences back to the eighties: Graffiti, large shoulders and baggy jumpers.
But in a clever move, that was then. This is now.
The details are absorbingly laid out. Where to look?
Peeling back the details. Adding the eyebrows.

I wish..
As a child I had a fascination with everything in miniature from the smallest tea-set to knives and forks for fairies. Maybe that’s why this piece of jewellery appeals so much.
Sheherazade Goldsmith and Laura Bailey have combined forces to create Loquet, a delicate, ingenious take on the charm bracelet. Their lockets, either heart-shaped or circular and made of crystal, open to store your own choice of keepsake charms.
I love jewellery with meaning, especially when it makes simple objects obtain talismanic status..the gem of a birthstone, an initial of a loved one, a golden ring all worn together next to your heart. This is not a cheap option..but then somethings in life should be special: Treasures to be treasured…and a girl’s gotta dream..

A Fash..
A fashion mash..who woulda thought it? But South African Blogger Diana Moss has the bangers. Inspired by Madrid-based Delposo’s SS14 collection – which was originally inspired by a painting by Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot – Diana, in turn has grasped each creative thought like a huge crayon and created these wonderful pictures with a spirit of their own.

A Harper Moment..
A Retail Director at Harpers Bazaar, Jo Glynn-smith knows her crepe de chine from her charmeuse..and we were delighted that she chose to wear MasonBentley during the extravaganza that is London Fashion Week.
And the Harper was delighted to make it to Burberry!
Go Rosie!
When the spotlight was on, it was an honour Jo choose to walk the dream with us.

A tribute to the new series of Dowton Abbey which started last night – sigh – capturing the essence, admiring the glorious skill, the effortless grace and a sense of unreality:
Jenny Packham SS14.
All photographs by the super talented Jamie Beck from her Anne Street Studio Blog..well worth checking out for stunning visuals.

And I need a hat advanced style..

My love of these women – they are utter icons in my eyes – has been further enhanced by a new Cutting Edge documentary by Sue Barnes shown here in the UK on channel 4 this week called ‘Fabulous Fashionistas’.
The title is ghastly, and in total contrast to the subject matter..six individuals with an average age of 80 representing a stunning antidote to all those that bow down at the font of youth.

Goodwood Revival 2013
Sometimes a picture speaks a thousand words and the following are a case in point: Anna, her family and another friend Kate with her family (we Kates get everywhere) all went to Goodwood at the weekend. Dubbed ‘the worlds most magical and unique historic motor racing meet’ it is the only event of its kind to be staged entirely in the nostalgic time capsule of the 1940s, 50s and 60s…the resulting pictures taken by Anna (you can check out her rather brilliant instagram account at annamasonbentleystyle) and members of her group….well….just too jolly good not to share….enjoy!
