Toast Becomes her..
Sometimes it’s the little things like the cut of a waistband, a delicate brushstroke of detail that makes a pair of trousers sing with more than just noise and Toast has some of the best…and they’re having a huge Sale.
The label is known for honest clothes for both men and women that are strong and confident with a sense of self.
There’s an emphasis on masculine tailoring.
As well as a a nod to the past that smiles like a warm, buttered crumpet.
Like a sip of fine wine, there’s a magic touch of satisfaction of knowing these pieces will be timeless and won’t lose their allure: Quality not quantity, and that’s worth a great deal.
Laters, Kate x
The wide leg black and the brown velvet (velour, corduroy?) for me, please! On Sale, too? Thank Goodness. XO
wow, love the trousers! check out my blog http://www.lydiamerrettart.wordpress.com
They also do a rather find cropped wide-legged sailor trouser..I want! x
Yes, yes, yes, I am pro-Toast! They do their best to commission UK-based clothing companies with the environment in mind. AND their styles are currently one of a kind.
Definitely a win win xxx

Hey Kate, I re-blogged the post @ http://andreadesignsblog.wordpress.com/. Thank you!!
Tradition, tradition … I like the idea of buying less but always choose quality over quantity ! I’ve never been a huge shopaholic because I like to keep clothes that have memories attached to them ! I particularly like the picture when she’s reading because she seems so warm, comfy and peaceful ! xxxxx
It’s a hard lesson to learn with so much fast fashion around…but it’s still the best lesson! xxx
Too cute…love the details!

LOVE the detail on the trousers!
Thank you! x
I am not familiar with this brand. The clothing do seems of a good quality and tailoring. Thanks for that. Sara
For me they represent quality in the old-fashioned sense..which I find quite rare to find these days x
I LOVE that first pair of black pants!!! I was hunting high and low for a really nice pair of black pants just before Christmas and those were the pants I was looking for!!! Xx
Such a classic look with the cream silk shirt..love the 2 buttons on the cuffs of the shirt too.. xxx
this coat!!! swoon
Great cut..but the details? Just take it to another level.. xxx
Love the embroidery on that coat! Tell me this, am I mistaken or didn’t you have a clothing label when I first started blogging? Or am I mixing you up? It was a crazy hazy business, the origins of my blog. But I always wondered had you turned your well-trained design eye to clothing at a time..? Settle it for me so that I can move on with my life!
You are not going mad! I did – with Anna Mason – who is still designing..I moved to the Blogging side of things to fit in with small kids..it suits me! xxx
Ah-ha! Oh you had my brain quite tied in knots for a while there! Glad to be able to reassure myself one more time that dementia has still not fully taken hold. I remember the clothes were really pretty.
They were – and now Anna has more equity to bargain for backers – much needed in a fashion business! xxx
Toast is one of those brands that I’m only vaguely familiar with but your post has inspired me to check them out properly. Fingers crossed they ship to Australia!
Heritage feel..quality..classics with a twist? all words I’d use to describe Toast..brilliant for core wardrobe pieces you want to last xxx
Love these inspiring photos!

I am liking that Labels aren’t just providing blank pictures of clothes, but also putting them in context..one of the benefits of the technological revolution! x
Some lovely details in these clothes! I really like the pleated skirt and the blanket in the reading picture. I have a blanket jones.
A blanket Jones? Pray tell more..I’m curious.. xxx
Jones
Can be used as a verb (Jonesing) or a noun (a jones). Describes a state in which one experiences strong desire or attraction, often of a sexual nature
What else would you like to know? Must. Have. Blankets.
Hehe! Love it! Of course I did do a quick search and came up with this…which I thought was right up your street anyway!
Oh, sure, feed my addiction! Those are gorgeous . . . oh, my.
Sigh!
I love the tailored details- the pants and pleated skirt are my favorites!
I love the trousers..but I’m also drawn to that silk shirt with the pockets on the front? Love little details like that.. xxx
It’s all in the details…going straight there to hopefully find a sweet midi skirt! Thanks for sharing! X d
GOOD LUCK!! xxx
