Boots Made for walking..
(Photo from Eileen Fisher)
The boots I want, nay need, for winter…except this photo is an optical illusion…it’s actually leather leggings with ankle boots, but it hasn’t stopped the waves of lust. Except the truly gutting thing is that I had the very pair years ago..and threw them out for no real good reason..it’s a hard lesson to learn: separating the wheat from the chaff..
We are heading to Edinburgh this morning for a four day break and a family gathering at the Zoo..(how apt!) Will be good for Bella to meet some fellow-red-headed-rellies..she’s been practising her Scottish accent especially. I just hope the weather is better up there..I suspect not….
Laters, Kate x
Don’t you just hate it when that happens? I Still think about a Joseph dress I culled six years ago, so frustrating. Have a wonderful time in Edinburgh, hope the sun shines xx
You are certainly no slouch when it comes to ‘déniching’ all those lust-inducing items. Hope you enjoy Edinburgh – one of my favorite cities.
Och aye the new……or something similar! Enjoy Bonnie Scotland xxx
Kate, perhaps the Stuart Weitzman 50/50 Boot would satisfy your lust? I have a green suede pair and absolutely love them. I know they come in black leather or suede. Patent Leather or Studded, too. Very comfortable! XO

PS. I loved Edinburgh, very quaint and we stayed with the castle right outside our window. But I preferred Glasgow, something about a “working” city – makes me happy. Travel Safely and Have Fun!
Mum and dad are there now. Lousy weather but still fun!
I’m dreaming of boots too… Can’t decide between knee length or ankle. My (considerably thinner than me) sister made a concerning comment today, regarding ankle length boots not Working on anyone. Making you taper to a point? Now keep imagining self as weird top heavy Barbie doll shape… Argh!
Have a great time!!!! Hoping for amazing photos!!!!
Having seen the photos now: The weather up in Edinburgh was nothing to fear, was it?
