Modern and retro.

Jil Sander SS 2012That all sort of started with the Jil Sanders 2012 show.

But I was thinking..wouldn’t it be nice to do a DIY version..but take it up another level? – Add removable corsages on the side similar to the one above- a further play on the vintage cloche hat?

original_06It could be a flower..or a collection of them..love the shape of these from Amica felt.

But imagine it all in Black..

I adore Jil Sander’s beanie (perfect for a mysterious lady !), especially on the Tommy Ton photo with Daria and Hanne Gaby, but I just loooooove your idea of adding a tiny animal (I’d choose a small leopard) ! xxxx

This would be your perfect disguise oh Lady of Mystery..you could lower the veil for those disappearing moments! Your comment made me think of those eighties bling brooches of leopards..also pretty cool – the weight could be a problem though….

I usually decorate mine with brooches or flowers. I admit I found the veil a bit too daring… but it looks so great I don’t think I’ll need a lot of persuasion to try it…
