There’s been a ten degree temperature drop over night here in London and heavy rain is predicted…but there are still memories to savour as the back to school routine kicks into gear..

That last hot summer we had was 6 years ago..I remember it well as I was pregnant with Bella..had ice in her baby bath to put my feet in! x

Still, it was a great summer weatherwise.

Especially love the last one! So evocative. Summer is still here in the Pacific NW. In fact, it’s raining cats and dogs right now but it’s the most lovely summer rain. I have to admit, though, that I got my fall/winter jackets out today and hung them up. It’s like seeing old friends again.
I think I would be happier if winter happened over night and there wasn’t that ‘do I need a pair of boots or will my feet gently sauna?’ I could then embrace open fires and woolly scarves.. xxx
SO true. Sitting here right now wondering how it can be so warm and yet raining. Sauna? Or hot tub? Either way it’s not good.
I sadly think it has turned for us..we now have that nip in the air..as long as the drizzle holds off..we do have a tendency to go a bit grey, which in an urban jungle is not great..fingers crossed xxx
