We were lucky that we booked to go on the one over cast morning..although it was already starting to break up..as the photographer I was a happy bunny!
I had no idea you could see dolphins in Portugal, but it was such a thrill..we travelled 8 miles out at speed to find them and then to see them ducking and diving around the boat was just awesome.. Xxxx
Dolphins are a favorite of mine! Even though I’ve not seen any wild ones. Orcas and whales, yes. The dolphins seem to be smart enough to stay in warmer waters. Love the pic of the family at he waters edge…made me say ‘ awwwwww….sweet! ‘
Funny enough we were discussing the best place to see whales..and Canada was up there! There is a joy to seeing wild dolphins..there’s a feeling of being very small in the world with the majesty of whales… Xxxx
It’s was pretty perfect for taking pictures..the colour of the sea took me by surprise..came up much greener in the shallows, but maybe that’s to do with a sandy beach, I don’t know.. Xxx
It was such a buzz to head out in search..and then spot them! We also saw a school of sardines (dolphins are no fools) literally flying out the water..xxxx
