A while ago I saw pictures of a posh haberdashery shop in Paris which reminded me of how my heart pounds with anticipation and my palms go sweaty every time I step into a VV Rouleaux shop…but this little treasure tucked deep inside Tooting’s covered market, if I am honest, produces exactly the same effect….

The whole area is an eclectic urban mix, with a big emphasis on food – you can discover the best curries in London here.

And much more.

Which is not to say it’s not edgy.

White lace of course!

And some peach lace for lining the inside of dresses.

I can indulge with abandon…explore every creative whim…still go home with pennies in my pocket….having supported a local independent enterprise…huge big Brucie Bonus’s.
